Ekta and Shobha Kapoor created the romantic drama tv show Parineetii under the Balaji Telefilms brand. Along with Ashish Dixit, Dolly Sohi, Vishal Solanki, Vriddhi Tiwari, and Coral Bhamra playing recurrent parts, it has Anchal Sahu, Tanvi Dogra, and Ankur Verma in the key characters. It debuted on Colors TV and Voot on February 14, 2022.

The two friends Parineet Kakkar and Neetii Juneja, collectively called Parineetii, are the stars of the show. Rajeev Bajwa is a happy child who enjoys his life while his mother looks for a girl for him. Rajeev marries Parineet under certain circumstances surrounding Varun and Parineet's union. He marries Parineet even though he doesn't like her for his mother's sake. Gurinder desired to amass the largest landholding in the community. Parineet remains at the Kakkar residence when Rajeev departs for Chandigarh.

2 months pass by and in Chandigarh, Rajeev resides with his cousins in his aunt's home under the alias Sanju Mehra. In Chandigarh, Neetii is finishing her Air Hostess training. Parineet remains at the Kakkar residence. In college, Jaswanth passes away. In Chandigarh, Mandeep drops Parineet off. After meeting Neetii, Parineet lives with her. Neetii accepts Rajeev's proposal at a party, not realising that he is Parineet's spouse.

Neetii accepts Rajeev's marriage proposal, so they get hitched. Rajeev is being knifed by Rakesh's thugs, but Parineet intervenes to save him. Rajeev gradually develops feelings for Parineet. Rajeev informs Neetii in a note that he is unable to marry her, but Sukhvinder, her mother, reads the letter instead of Neetii. Sukhvinder is shot before telling Neetii this. Sukhvinder lives, but she begins to worry that she won't for a few days. As a result, she pressures Rajeev to marry Neeti so that Rajeev can care for her daughter while she is away. Rajeev gives in to her demands and gets married to Neeti without informing Parineet.

After noticing a lipstick stain on Rajjev's shirt, Parineet begins to have suspicions about him. Parineet is advised by Neetii to follow Rajeev. The following evening, Rajeev and Neetii have plans to have supper, but Parineet follows them. But Rajeev manages to trick him again later. Rajeev and his wife are invited to Rajeev's best friend's sangeet. He asks Neetii, who initially declines because she needs to return to work, but she somehow manages to get another week off, so she tells Rajeev in a happy mood, shocking him because he had already told Parineet to come.
