The plot revolves around two couples who are 15 years apart in age. Yogesh is a 40-year-old renowned painter who has returned to Berlin, and Nivedita is a 39-year-old interpreter who lives alone in her flat no. 404. Piyush, a 25-year-old social entrepreneur, and his girlfriend Navi, a 24-year-old free spirit, are the other couple. They are both in a live-in relationship and share flat 304 in the same building. One fine day, both couples decide to marry for different reasons, and their marriages are exchanged at the marriage registrar's office due to name and address confusion. The couples argue with the officials, and the Registrar rejects their request to correct the names. Later, on the basis of a valuable suggestion, they decide to remarry their original partners after a year of divorce.
