The Marathi film Morya was released on August 19, 2011. produced and directed by Atul Kamble and Avdhoot Gupte. Santosh Juvekar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Pari Telang, Spruha Joshi, Dilip Prabhawalkar, Ganesh Yadav, Pushkar Shrotri, Sunil Ranade, and other actors are among the cast members.

When Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak gave the Ganpati festival a public form in 1893, it truly became a celebration of the people. He regarded the festival as a means of bringing people together for a common cause with the ultimate goal of achieving India's freedom while disguising it as a religious celebration.

There are two adjacent chawls in Mumbai, known as "Ganesh Chawl" and "Khatav Chawl."
