Senthil Kumar and Sreeja Chandran are the main characters of the 2016 Tamil-language Indian soap opera Mappillai. The series was first shown by STAR Vijay on weeknights at 9:00 PM (IST), with the premiere episode airing on November 14, 2016. The show's broadcast hour was altered to 8:00PM on June 26, 2017. (IST).

Senthil Kumar and Sreeja Chandran, an actor-actress duo who had previously been together in the television serial operas Madhurai and Saravanan Meenatchi's first season, were reunited for the show. 241 episodes later, on October 6, 2017, the show came to an end. The show also stars Pandi Kamal, Vaishali Thaniga and Janani Ashokkumar.
