Mai Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki Plot

A young woman from the middle class named Lakshmi wants to make money because her mother passed away from pneumonia and her family couldn't pay for her care. Arjun Agnihotri, who she has a crush on and wants to marry, relocates to London for 10 years to finish his studies when she is 9 years old. Arjun makes his way back to India 12 years later while posing as Ajay Sharma. He meets Lakshmi and falls in love with her as well, knowing that she has a crush on him. Lakshmi proposes Ajay after discovering that he is Arjun. After they get married and he finally comes clean about his feelings, Lakshmi feels abandoned and decides to break up with Arjun because she thinks he still has affection for Saumya, his previous fiancée.

After three months have passed, Arjun forgave her and assisted the family in reuniting with her as Lakshmi learned the past truth. Saumya departs after being revealed to be simply wanting Arjun's money. Lakshmi and Arjun remarry. A year later, Lakshmi gave birth to Jiyana, the couple's daughter, before passing away. She was aware of the risks of her pregnancy but she never told Arjun.

The lookalike of Lakshmi, Kaanchi Kashyap, is presented seven years later. 8-year-old Jiyana was raised by Arjun. She invites Kaanchi to visit Arjun under the guise of making a delivery since she is amazed at how much the girl resembles Lakshmi. Arjun and Kaanchi eventually start dating. They admit to being in love and the show comes to an end.
