Love Khichdi is a Hindi romantic comedy movie from the year 2009 and is directed by Srinivas Bhashyam. The initial title of the movie was "Love Game." Then, the producer chose to modify the title to something that sounded more Indian.

The story follows Vir Pratap Singh, who was born in Chandigarh and speaks excellent English, who relocates to Mumbai and works as a sous-chef for the Leena Grand Hotel. He resides in Khar and gets along well with his neighbours, who include his maidservant Shanta Bhansode, schoolgirl Deepti J. Mehta, who has a crush on him, Sandhya Iyengar, who works as a receptionist in the same hotel, and Parminder Kaur, who enjoys Italian cuisine. In the hotel lobby, he pursues bookshop manager Sharmishta Basu, makes an effort to get to know lanky model Susan Raj, and befriends and sleeps with businesswoman Nafisa Khan in the hopes of convincing her to back his restaurant startup project. He gives each woman the impression that she knows him well and allows them make assumptions about his Sun Sign. He decides to use one of the women when he thinks the timing is appropriate, not anticipating the surprises and disappointments that will be in store for him.
