Produced by Siddharth P. Malhotra, Love Ka Hai Intezaar is a romantic drama television series in the Hindi language. Every Monday through Saturday during the Star Dopahar afternoon programming block, it was broadcast internationally on Star Plus. Keith Sequeira, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Heena Parmar and Sara Arfeen Khan. After a twenty-year hiatus, Preetika Rao and Mohit Sehgal rejoin the cast of the show.

When the Star Dopahar block was removed on September 30, 2017, the series came to an end.

Kamini Mathur, a gifted actress, is at the pinnacle of her profession. She isn't a Bollywood diva despite the perception that she is. She was raised with the values of the middle class by her artist mother Ragini and IAS officer father Naman.

Kamini, who works hard to pursue her principles and talent, encounters the just and ideal Madhav Ranawat, the king of Rajgarh, who performs his tasks admirably and is surrounded by luxury. Madhavi, a three-year-old girl, is his only child; he is married. Kamini and Madhav fall in love ardently.

The couple is split up after Madhav decides to divorce his wife Vijayalakshmi. Kamini, who is expecting, intends to raise her child alone. Mathurs relocates to Canada for a while in order to give birth to the child that will be revealed to the public as her sibling.

Two decades later

Kamini has retired from public life and resides in Mumbai with her family, which also includes her daughter Mohini and the widowed Ragini. Kamini is assumed to be Mohini's sister. Madhavi is an adult as well. Ayaan Mehta enters, falling for Mohini and Madhavi while harbouring feelings for Mohini.

Kamini and Madhav cross paths. Misunderstandings are resolved. Mohini is accepted by Madhav; Vijayalakshmi is revealed. Kamini is aware that he dumped her via a letter, making it simple for her to despise him and go on. They align. Madhavi understands that Ayaan and Mohini are intended to be together and that Madhav's genuine happiness rests in that.
