Anshuman Malhotra, Priyal Gor, Raima Sen, Priya Banerjee, Harshadaa Vijay, Teena Singh, and Puneesh Sharma feature in the ZEE5 Original web series. Love Bites, produced by Rashmi Sharma, is based on Anmol Rana's best-selling novel '7 Days Without You'. The project was directed by Abhishek Dogra. The seven episodes tell the narrative of Vishwas Sharma, a naive, charming, and innocent young man who leaves Panchgani to relocate to Pune. He is relieved to be free of his mother's and childhood best friend Shailja's protective grip. He has no clue, though, what direction his life will go from there.

Seven different girls appear in the seven episodes and have an influence on Vishwas' life. The ZEE5 Original is a coming-of-age narrative that appeals to a younger audience. Vishwas is a charming and endearing character that allows us to share in the joys and pleasures of his trip. This plot is unique in that Vishwas' journey lasts seven days, during which time seven females give him a valuable lesson. Vishwas experiences everything from fun to laughter to thrills till he realises that what he was looking for all along was always present.

The series received mostly positive reviews and was adored by fans for its music and story-telling. It became an instant hit and has been renewed for a second season.
