The film opens with Anjali (Juhi Chawla) seemingly dead. Karan (Sunny Deol) and Anjali are in love (Juhi Chawla). Anjali is the lone witness against Chengez Lala, one of the underworld rulers, and Karan, a renowned police officer, is tasked with protecting her. 

Anjali must be taken far away in the forest by Karan in order to keep her secure and prevent anyone from finding out where she is. Karan and Anjali fall in love during this adventure and decide they want to get married despite all odds.
