In the movie, a Delhi university student from the middle class falls in love with a girl who hosts a fashion display on a wintry Delhi night. Someone hides a sting operation tape in his pocket while wooing her. In this undercover operation, a minister is heard discussing buying and selling MLAs and media figures with money from his Swiss bank accounts. Unaware of it, he is being pursued by both bad guys and crooked officers to get that footage back. He quickly learns about the tape he is carrying and its extreme importance. The suspenseful climax of the novel involves how this university student, who has always spoken out against corruption like any layperson, now bribes himself with the large offer made by the minister's guy.
