Kathal is an upcoming new latest Netflix Hindi movie starring Dangal Star Sanya Malhotra and Directed by Yashowardhan Mishra. Anant Vijay Joshi, a television actor best known for portraying Bhaskar Tripathi in ALTBalaji's web series Virgin Bhaskar, co-stars in the movie with Sanya Malhotra, who plays Police Officer Mahima Bosor.

Yashowardhan Mishra, who is making his directorial debut with this movie has co-wrote the movie's screenplay with Ashok Mishra, a renowned and accomplished author. The movie is financially supported by the renowned filmmakers Ekta Kapoor and her mother Sobha Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, along with Guneet Monga and Achin Jain's Sikhya Entertainment. One of the movie's producers under Balaji Motion Pictures is Ruchika Kapoor.

The film's plot centers on a young female police officer named Mahima Basor, who is determined to solve the strange case of some missing jackfruits that belong to a local politician in a small Indian village. Although few details about the movie have been made public and most of it is kept confidential.
