The Joker is an Indian Hindi Language Movie produced by Shree Farah Khan. It was released on 31 August 2012. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.

The Plot of the Film Revolves around Agastya "Sattu" (Akshay Kumar), a scientist who is working on the establishment of an alien communication system. However, Agastya loses his seniors' trust and is given a one-month deadline to complete his project with tangible results. Meanwhile, Agastya learns of his father's illness through his lover Diva (Sonakshi Sinha). When they learn of this, they travel to his hometown of Paglapur, where they meet his brother (Shreyas Talpade), who speaks in gibberish, a child who believes he is a lamp post, and everyone else who believes World War II is still going on and fears the Germans. Soon Agastya discovers that his father's pretext was a rumor.

As the story progresses, Agastya comes up with a cute plan involving a crop circle and aliens visiting his hamlet in order to gain recognition for his otherwise remote village, which has been neglected since independence.

As the frames go, Agastya, along with other villagers in Paglapur, forms a crop circle and spreads rumors about aliens arriving in the town. The film then moves on to some humorous episodes revolving around UFOs and fake man-made aliens, all set against a backdrop of massive media hype.

Finally, the joke about the false aliens is discovered, and real aliens appear at the end of the film to present the hamlet with a gift of oil. Actress Minissha Lamba and Priya Ahuja Played the prominent roles of News Reporters.

Joker is directed by Sirish Kunder. The star cast of Joker includes Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Minissha Lamba, Priya Ahuja, Shreyas Talpade, and others.
