Jawan is an upcoming Hindi action thriller movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara in the lead roles.

Atlee is the director of the Indian movie Jawan and the producer is Gauri Khan. The main cast of Jawan includes Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, etc.

Shah Rukh Khan would be seen in dual roles in the movie while Nayanthara plays a role of an investigating officer. In the movie, Deepika Padukone plays Khan's wife in a flashback scene. Anirudh Ravichander was picked to write the music for the movie, making this his first solo composition in Bollywood.

Jawan was first aired in the year 2023 on the 2nd of June. The movie will be subtitled and released in the languages of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Jawan is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. 

Pune saw the start of principal photography in September 2021. Some significant family scenes were filmed in Mumbai and Hyderabad in June 2022. Chennai served as the location for the filming in August 2022. Shah Rukh Khan received particular thanks from Atlee for agreeing to shoot the movie in Chennai.
