Haseen Dillruba

Haseen Dillruba is a romantic mystery thriller film directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of Colour Yellow Productions, T-Series, and Eros International in the year 2021. Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane feature in the film.

The film was released on Netflix on July 2, 2021. It  became the most-watched Hindi film on Netflix in 2021, hitting the top ten in 22 countries.

Rani, played by Tapsee Pannu, is a homemaker and is feeding her dogs outside her home when it unexpectedly explodes, killing her husband, Rishab "Rishu" Saxena, played by Vikrant Massey. The cops discover a charred-to-death body with a severed hand that Rani recognises as Rishu's. The film alternates between the past (narrated in flashback) and the present, with the aftermath of the explosion intertwined with the ongoing police inquiry. What follows is a story filled with revelations and mystery and also shows to what extent a person can go for the love of their life.
