In 2020, Vikram Bhatt directed the psychological suspense thriller Hacked, which Krishna Bhatt, Amar Thakkar, and Jatin Sethi produced under the Loneranger Productions banner. In addition to Sid Makkar, Sheetal Dabholkar, and Tanvi Thakkar playing supporting roles, the movie stars Hina Khan, Rohan Shah, and Mohit Malhotra in the key roles. It has an IMDb rating of 4.3 out of 10. The plot centres on a boy's infatuation for an older female and how his obsession with her is revealed through hacking her life.

An online fashion magazine is edited by Sameera Khanna. Her love for married actor Om Kapoor, who isn't truly dedicated to her, complicates her life. She is incredibly attractive to two local men, Rohan and 19-year-old Vivek. She is also troubled at work because Sameera's new CEO thinks her fashion sense is obsolete and wants her to adapt. The young hacker Vivek, who wants to own and control Sameera, is the toughest issue she has to deal with. After a party at her house, she becomes inebriated and has an accidentally passionate encounter with Vivek, giving him power over her life and placing him in the driver's seat, causing complete chaos for her reputation, profession, privacy, and confidence.

The negative side of social media and the digital age, where nothing about your life is private, is explored in the movie Hacked. Mobile devices, PCs, digital cameras, and other devices can all be compromised by hackers, leaving you defenceless and essentially at their mercy. The idea for the movie is sound, but it takes Sameera's experiences with the dark web and how they affect her life to an absurdly severe level of hopelessness.
