The 2012 Indian sports comedy-drama film Ferrari Ki Sawaari was written and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, with Vidhu Vinod Chopra serving as producer. Ritvik Sahore, Boman Irani, and Sharman Joshi play the main characters. The movie debuted on June 15, 2012, to largely favourable reviews.

Ritvik Sahore's character, Kayo, a little child, can't stop thinking about cricket. Rusy (Sharman Joshi), his head clerk father, is preoccupied with his young son. Kayo's school hosts a cricket camp that would take participants to Lord's Cricket Ground in London and give Kayo the opportunity to play with his idol Sachin Tendulkar, but Rusy doesn't have the money to attend.

The honourable and upstanding Rusy commits his first minor act of dishonesty to help his kid realise his ambition of playing at Lord's Cricket Ground: he takes Sachin Tendulkar's flashy red Ferrari for the day. The only issue is that he fails to alert the legendary owner. It's the start of a chaotic, thrilling, bumpy ride that introduces a cast of fascinating characters, including a wedding planner who will do anything, a pair of devoted attendants à la Laurel and Hardy, a selfish politician and his irresponsible son, and a mechanic who specialises in stolen cars.

Another story is unfolding as the Ferrari races through this chaotic world of street gangs and mass weddings: the story of a cranky old guy with hidden scars and an epic feud that dates back 38 years.
