Zooni Ali Beg is a blind girl from Kashmir who embarks on her maiden trip without her parents with a dance group to Delhi to take part in an Independence Day ceremony. She meets the tour guide and Casanova Rehan Khan while on her journey, and he flirts with her. Zooni's friends had warned her about him, but she can't help falling in love with him, and he gives her a special tour of New Delhi as a result. However, Rehan is more complicated than first appears, and Zooni will have to make a difficult choice.
