Her main objective is to become a well-known singer in order to gain her father's acceptance as his daughter.

He begs Aarvi to give him another chance, but she refuses and departs with a heavy heart.
The movie then comes back to the present where Gautam eludes the police. According to ACP V. K. Ganesan, Gautam did not murder Aarvi. Bhairav Purohit, whom Aarvi had phoned on her phone the day she was killed, is questioned by the police, but he claims not to have committed the crime and there is no proof either. After learning that 18 girls had been killed using a similar method in the last six months, Ganesan notices a pattern and concludes that the killer primarily targets young girls with one-sided love. Ganesan concludes that Gautam is not the serial killer based on the events that follow.
When Gautam discovers Bhairav's zoo address, he sets out to face him. The Bhairav kills Ganesan. The truth about Aarvi's existence is made clear. She tries to flee the zoo where Bhairav had been keeping her, but he captures her and imprisons her in a cage belowground. The police arrive and take Bhairav into custody just as Gautam and Bhairav are about to fight. They look into the young boy who claims his father is the murderer, Keshav (Bhairav's acquaintance from the zoo). The police also go to the scene of the murder where they discover a dead girl, but it is not Aarvi.
Gautam observes Bhairav and Rasika cuddling outside the station. Both of them enter Aarvi's cell believing she is unconscious. She is not, though, and stabs Bhairav with a piece of glass that she discovered there. While Bhairav is attacking Aarvi, Rasika starts to chuckle. When Gautam arrives to save Aarvi, the men start fighting. Gautam is knocked to the ground by Bhairav. Rasika is asked for a 5-star rating by Bhairav. As Gautam begins to giggle, he enquires about Rasika's identity and whereabouts. He informs Bhairav that she has left.
Then, as he was clutching Rasika and pleading with her not to leave him, Bhairav realised that he had unintentionally killed her. He collapses to the ground in shock as Gautam and Aarvi make up. We observe Gautam at the concert by Aarvi.
