The 2006 Indian anthology horror thriller film Darna Zaroori Hai was written and directed by Satish Kaushik and Ram Gopal Varma. The movie is a continuation of Darna Mana Hai. Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Bipasha Basu, Randeep Hooda, Arjun Rampal, Mallika Sherawat, Sonali Kulkarni, Rajpal Yadav, and more well-known Bollywood actors appear in it. The New York Institute of Technology's film course required students to archive the movie. 

Six stories are interwoven into the one movie Darna Zaroori Hai. Five kids become disoriented and stumble into a derelict home in the middle of a forest. They encounter an elderly woman inside who agrees to tell them six terrifying tales. They then compete to see who can endure all six tales without being afraid.

One of the six stories goes as follows:

A couple named Vishwas and his wife reside with their son Chintu. Prabhakar Panditwho, an insurance agent, pays the trio a visit one day and keeps reminding them of the hazards involved in life and the unpredictability of accidents. The moment Vishwas kicks him out of the house, their doorbell rings loudly. When they open the door, nobody is inside. The bell sounds once more as they enter the house. Once more, the agent states that he forgot his umbrella inside and that it is raining outside. He pulls out a number of objects, including a knife, a rope, and a rifle, all of which stand in for various ways to pass away in life.

After growing weary of him, Vishwas requests that he go. The agent then points a gun at Vishwas and his family, threatening them. The agent is inadvertently shot after a struggle between Vishwas and the agent. "See sir, accidents are never foreseen," he says just before passing away, seemingly reiterating his claim.

Following the story, another child, Aditi, goes to get some water but when she returns, she meets the same fate as the first two.
