Aditya Sarpotdar and Suresh Pai's Classmates is a Marathi-language movie with Ankush Choudhary, Sai Tamhankar, Sachit Patil, Tushar Kamble, Sonalee Kulkarni, Pallavi Patil and Siddharth Chandekar as the main cast. The movie is an authorised remake of the same-named Malayalam film from 2006.

The film takes place in the year 1995.  Satya is a senior in college and a member of the "Yuva Shakti Party." Ani, Satya's friend and a first-year student, is a cool, lovable lad. Aditi Nimbalkar is a politician's niece. Satya's right hand is a tough girl named Appu who l Loves Satya dearly. Rohit is a swimmer and a student in his last year. Ani hopes to establish a music programme in his college. Satya and Aditi initially hated one another but subsequently developed a romantic relationship. Elections start at this time, and Rohit determines Aditi will run against Satya. Ani's passing marks the story's turning point.

Classmates was generally liked by the critics and audience alike, praising its unique storytelling and the acting performance by the star cast. It also did well at the box office, earning close to 21 crores. It was also the first Marathi film to be shot at the iconic Sophia College in Mumbai.
