Cirkus is a Hindi movie. The Cirkus movie is about a circus operator and his gymnast friends from a large circus company 'juggle' their lives while attempting to revive the extinct circus culture.

The upcoming film, Cirkus is in a way inspired by Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. Cirkus is a remake of the 1983 hindi film, Angoor. The film, Angoor was based on Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. 

In an interview with Filmfare, director Rohit Shetty said, “There have been many versions of The Comedy of Errors. In Bengali cinema, it was made as a black and white film, then Do Dooni Chaar with Kishore Kumar. So, it has changed a lot over the years." 

The film, Cirkus is to be released in the year 2022 on the 23rd of December. Cirkus is also available on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video. 

Cirkus film had gone into production during the pandemic. The film is now completed and is all set for it’s promotions and release. Cirkus film release date will be on the 23rd of December, 2022.

Rohit Shetty is the director and producer of the Indian movie Cirkus is Bhushan Kumar, Rohit Shetty. The main Cirkus casts includes, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Johny Lever, Vijay Patkar, Anil Charanjeett, etc.

This film will be the yet another film starring the real life couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Actor Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a double role in the film Cirkus.
