Chakravyuh is a Hindi political drama movie from the year 2012 and is directed by Prakash Jha.

Directed by Prakash Jha, the movie is produced by him as well along with Sunil Lulla under the production banner Prakash Jha Productions and Eros International. The main Chakravyuh cast includes Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta, Abhay Deol, Anaji Patil, Manoj Bajapayee, Kabir Bedi, and Om Puri among many others.

However, Jha shifts his focus with Chakravyuh to a different location, both geographically and socially, from his two long-term preoccupations: the politics of post-1970s Bihar and the evolving significance of caste in Indian socio-political life.

Chakravyuh is Jha's attempt to present a rather complex contemporary issue to Hindi film audiences. It is set in the tribal-dominated interior regions of Madhya Pradesh where Maoist militants are conducting a guerrilla war against the forces of the Indian state.
