A 2007 Hindi movie called Bombay To Goa was produced and directed by Raj Pendurkar. Along with Vijay Raaz, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, and Tinnu Anand, it also features Indian comedians Sunil Pal, Aasif Sheikh, Raju Srivastava, and Ahsaan Qureshi.

Lal and Das are at the centre of the movie. Lal is a driven individual who desires to launch his own company and succeed in life. Das has a big mouth and is very haughty. The two are successful in obtaining 5100 rupees, with which they launch a vada pav shop. Lal wins a contest for Rs. 2 lakhs, as luck would have it. The pair intends to launch a travel agency. They use the spare components from old automobiles to build a bus because they do not have enough money to purchase a vehicle. He gives Das the prize money without question since he has faith in him to come up with a reliable bus model. Lal is successful in securing customers for their initial ride. However, when their bus pulls there, chaos breaks out as people yell for their money back. However, when the passengers are made to ride in it, it gives them a singular experience.

A dying criminal who has a map and information about a secret prize is discovered by the group. To cooperate, they tear the map, and each person keeps a piece. They manage to uncover treasure behind a statue that they had toppled, but the gold is confiscated by the police because of their greed, which causes a rat race. After the cops have fled with the gold, the bus owners and the passengers start to feel guilty about their greed and decide to repair the broken statue as a 'philanthropic' act. However, while attempting to fix the statue, they manage to shatter it. There is a bag of diamonds inside. Everyone receives their fair part of the gems after Lal thanks God for the reward.
