Bigg Boss Telugu is a Telugu TV show adapted from the Hindi programme Bigg Boss, which itself was adapted from the original Dutch Big Brother. A number of contestants (referred to as "housemates") are cut off from the outside world and dwell in a specially constructed home. The two housemates who garner the most nominations each week will go up for a public vote. 

Each week, roommates nominate two of their fellow housemates for eviction. A resident would eventually depart after being "convicted" from the House. The public cast their votes for the winner during the final week when there were only five housemates left. A mystery figure known as "Bigg Boss" is in charge of the residents and can only be heard speaking from outside the mansion.

Bigg Boss Telugu was first aired in the year 2017 on the 16th of July. Bigg Boss Telugu is also available on OTT platforms like Disney + Hotstar. The TV show is as long as 106 episodes.

The show is owned by Banijay Group and Endemol Shine India Jointly. The show is presented by popular actor Nagarjuna. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Nani were previous hosts for the show.  VJ Sunny, Siva Balaji, Ali Reza, Mehaboob Shaik, Rohini Reddy, RJ Ganesh, etc. are some of the popular participants.
