Bhalla calling Bhalla is a Hindi-language comedy web series that premiered on Zee 5 on 20 May 2020. It is based on the after-effects of lockdown on families and how they were unable to meet each other due to which they had to resort to video calls to stay in touch. The show was produced by Zee Studios and has a star cast of Gaurav Gera, Rajesh Kumar, Gracy Goswami, Leenesh Mattoo and Lubna Salim in lead roles. It has 12 episodes in total and has an IMDb rating of 8.1 out of 10.

The Bhallas are a peculiar family! Due to the lockdown, the members of this family are separated and stuck in various cities. Mrs Lovely Bhalla portrays a smart, tech-savvy, and adorable Punjabi mother. She effectively uses video calling to monitor each member of her family. Lovely begins the action by inviting her cherished loved ones and friends to her birthday celebration. She urges her son Sahil Bhalla, daughter Lisa, and husband Rajesh to take over after feeling self-conscious about her appearance. A family webinar provides information about what is happening in everyone's life.

Lisa is in Jodhpur, Sahil Bhalla is stranded in Mumbai, and Rajesh is in Chandigarh. Returning home is both a priority and a challenge now that the lockdown has been imposed.
