The plot of the story revolves around Anandi's striving for justice. Balika Vadhu 2 follows the friendship of two friends, "Premji," portrayed by Balika Vadhu 2 cast, Sunny Pancholi, and "Khimji," played by Anshul Trivedi, in the rural Gujarati town of Devgarh. Anandi, the daughter of Khimji's wife, is born while Jigar, the son of Premji (played by Vansh Sayani), is born. Later, Anandi and Jigar are wed in a ceremony known as a "Baal Vivah."

The Show approached the tradition of child marriage from a very different angle. The audience will be introduced to a new Anandi and the difficulties she encounters as a child bride in the program.
