The Plot of Ajeeb Daastaans centers on the surprising ways that unanticipated triggers stoke the painful feelings simmering in broken relationships are revealed in four short stories. Every story has a surprising discovery at the end, which is reason enough to watch this collection of films.

Majnu - Shashank Khaitan (Director): A grandiose mansion wedding that was conducted as a business transaction leaves the girl in an unhappy marriage, where she meets a mysterious stranger. Fatima Sana Shaikh delivers a subtle performance, and in any other film, she has never looked as stunning. Shashank Khaitan has done an excellent job of telling a compelling story that keeps your attention from beginning to end.

 Khilauna- Raj Mehta(Director): A story about a crafty, manipulative maid is in difficulty. The mystery is skillfully handled and you are kept guessing the entire time because of the way the plot is put together. As a maid, Nushrat Bharucha performs admirably. Although he makes good movies, Abhishek Banerjee sometimes seems to repeat himself. The climax sends shivers down your spine, but the way they suggested that a crime could be committed is virtually unimaginable. It also includes stars like Inayat Verma and Maneesh Verma who gave excellent performances.

Geeli Pucchi-Neeraj Ghaywan (Director): The story is framed by the friendship between two manufacturing workers and how they come to know one another. Konkona Sen Sharma has really nailed her role as a fierce and independent tomgirl. You are even more convinced by her talent when you see how accurately she has nailed the mannerisms. You can't take your eyes off Aditi Rao Hydari because she is so adorable and portrays her role as a regular housewife so effectively. Actor Gyaan Prakash also played a prominent role in this episode.

Ankahi - Kayoze Irani(Director):  One of the more adult stories among the group, it tells the tale of a married woman and a deaf and dumb man. The plot does elicit the appropriate emotions, and the leads deserve praise. Shefali Shah is one of the most underappreciated actresses, and in this film, she is simply flawless. Manav Kaul performs admirably in his role.
