Aggabai Sasubai Plot

The story follows Asawari who lost her husband at an early age and since then has raised her son Soham alone. She has entirely lost who she is and devoted her life to her family, which also includes her father-in-law. During the celebration of their wedding, Soham and Shubhra went to the restaurant of celebrity chef Abhijit, who fell in love with her and obtained her number. Shubhra felt that Asawari should also have her own life, so she decided to have them married.

A sequel to Aggabai Sunbai was released on March 15, 2021, as a result of the huge popularity of Aggabai Sasubai. Abhijeet, Aajoba, and Asavari were all performed by actors Girish Oak, Mohan Joshi, and Nivedita Joshi-Saraf, respectively. Adwait Dadarkar and Uma Pendharkar, respectively, took over the roles of Soham and Shubhra in place of actors Ashutosh Patki and Tejashri Pradhan.
