The first episode of the Indian romantic fantasy drama television series Adhuri Kahaani Hamari aired on &TV on November 16, 2015. Laksh Lalwani ,Suhani Dhanki, Nitin Sahrawat, Amrapali Gupta, Juhi Aslam, and Mahima Makwana are the stars of this 4 Lions Films production, which is produced by Gul Khan. At the age of 16, Maya, an ichhadhaari naagin, kills Manasvini (Mahima Makwana). Maya kills Manu to replace her in Prince Madhav's (Laksh Lalwani) life because she is envious of Manu receiving attention from Madhav. 

Years later, Manasvini's spirit reappears as Radhika, a student of film. Radhika landed in Narayanpuri, the site of the historic Garuda Temple. Throughout her trip as Manasvini, Radhika confronts her old life and learns some surprising details regarding the friendship between Manasvini, Madhav, and Maya. The characters are seen in the past, when Maya attempts to kill Manu and murders every member of the family. Manu accidentally stabs Maya with a Trishul, injures Madhav, and receives a bite from Maya. They all pass away at the same time.

Back in the present, Radhika marries Krish, who is Madhav's resurrected form, with the aid of Tulsi, a shape-shifting snake who arrives to bring Radhika and Krish together in order to right the wrong that the Naagvansh did to the devoted couple. Preeti, his sister-in-law, is a daayan (a witch) and has a secret agenda in Krish's home. She kidnaps Krish while torturing Radhika.

She attempts to kill Radhika, but Tulsi saves her by giving her the abilities that make her a naagin. Preeti is changed into a human being by Radhika using these exceptional abilities. In the end, Radhika kills Preeti the daayan to exact revenge on Krish.
