The Story of Builders web series is a sidesplitting comedy-drama series set in a gym. As a muscular but acquitted gym manager, Mandar faces a make-or-break challenge: he must secure five new involvements within a month to avoid losing his job permanently. To aid him in this intimidating task, he’s joined by a quirky team consisting of Parul, Vishakha, Kaameshwar, and Uncle, respectively, bringing their own unique and eccentric characters into the mix.
The story goes like this, Mandar (Swapnil Kokam) relocates from Malegaon to Mumbai to manage the gym owned by his brother-in-law. In addition to his role as the senior gym instructor, shoulders the responsibility of overseeing the gym's daily operations. His brother-in-law has given him a one-month deadline to secure five annual subscriptions from prospective customers, almost like a Damocles’ sword hanging over his head throughout the series. As the story unfolds, we meet Parul (Vidushi Kaul), Vishakha (Anusha Mishra), Kameshwar (Ankit Motghare), and Uncle (Avtar Gill)—regulars at the gym who prefer spending most of their time amid the gym's weights, dumbbells, and treadmills. Kameshwar, a virgin and an inexperienced young man is desperately searching for love, and he seizes every opportunity to meet a girl and impress her. Parul, an aspiring actress, is his best friend who knows him inside and out. Vishakha, a doctor, is a recent gym joiner with a goal to shed some weight, about whom Kameshwar believes she might be the girl of his dreams. Uncle (Avtar Gill), a retired homeopathic doctor, enjoys playing the role of an advisor to Parul, Kameshwar, and Vishakha.
