Nongdamba Naorem’s Career

 

Youth and Early Career

Nongdamba Naorem, a member of the Minerva Punjab youth team, was born in Wabagai, Manipur. Nongdamba Naorem was chosen to represent India on loan from Minerva Punjab for the Indian Arrows, an All India Football Federation-owned side made up of under-20 players, following the FIFA U-17 World Cup. In the season opener for the Arrow against Chennai City, he made his team's professional debut.

He replaced Edmund Lalrindika in the 86th minute of Indian Arrows' 3-0 victory. Naorem scored his first career goal against Shillong Lajong a month later, on December 26. Nongdamba Neorem received the ball on the wing and then advanced past three Shillong Lajong defenders to enter the box. After eluding one more defender, he shot the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 3-0 for Indian Arrows.

 

Kerala Blasters

Nongdamba Naorem was given a three-year contract by Kerala Blasters in 2018. He later joined the Blasters reserve squad, which plays in the I-League 2nd Division. He was loaned to Mohun Bagan after making 6 appearances there in order to acquire some playing time.
