Domestic Career

Naorem Roshan Singh a native of Manipur's small hamlet of Samurou began participating in the sport at the age of six or seven. He was chosen to play for the Imphal West District squad as a youth and he was later recruited for the Thokchom Birachandra Football Academy.

Naorem Roshan Singh joined Bengaluru's reserve squad for the I-League 2nd Division it was revealed in October 2017. A month later he was loaned to Indian Arrows a squad owned by the All India Football Federation that would feature India's under-20 national team players in order to provide them with playing time. In the team's 2-0 loss against Minerva Punjab on December 5 2017 he made his professional debut replacing Edmund Lalrindika in the 80th minute. Roshan also played for Bengaluru B in the Bangalore Super Division competition and served as their captain.

Naorem Roshan Singh was a member of Bengaluru's senior team for the 2019–20 Indian Super League campaign working equally for both the senior side and the B squad in the I-League 2nd Division. In the 2019 Durand Cup and 2019 AFC Cup when they were eliminated in the group rounds Roshan played as the left-sided midfielder and displayed flashes of his brilliance. Prior to India's two friendly matches against Bahrain and Belarus in March 2022 head coach Igor Timac called up Naorem Roshan Singh for the national team. On March 23 against Bahrain he made his debut and contributed to the team's 2-1 loss.
