Career

A Femina Miss India contest scout noticed her at an NSS event in 2009 during her first year of college and convinced her to start modeling and compete in the pageant. With the assistance of her father's acquaintance she put together a portfolio and entered the competition. Despite having no prior modeling experience she made the top 10 and won the Fresh Face award.She was discovered by the casting director of the Telugu movie Vedam by Krish while she was working on a modeling assignment in Hyderabad. When 70 girls were passed over by the producers she was chosen to play Pooja the wealthy girlfriend of Cable Raju (Allu Arjun) the movie's star because she liked the screenplay and decided to give it a go.

Anthology drama Vedam received positive reviews upon release and was recognised at several award ceremonies. She quickly signed two more movies with the next release being the highly successful Mirapakay starring Ravi Teja. She made her acting debut as the lead female role in the action drama Wanted with Gopichand which was released two weeks after Mirapakaay and debuted to disastrous box office results.

She has contracts with three other Telugu projects: Rebel starring Prabhas and Tamannaah; Nippu starring Ravi Teja once more; and Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara? a socio-fantasy movie. Moreover she was cast in the 2013 Tamil movie Vettai Mannan starring Silambarasan and Suseenthiran's Rajapattai starring Vikram.

Vedam (2010)

This is a Telugu-language drama film directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi. Deeksha Seth played the lead female role alongside Allu Arjun Anushka Shetty and Manoj Manchu. The film received critical acclaim for its story performances and direction.
