They are particularly renowned for their plumbing products but are also manufacturers of furniture, cabinetry, tiles, engines and generators. Since 2006 Kohler has had a presence in India and have one of their most successful markets in the country.

Brand Objective

The marketing efforts for their new line of kitchen faucets and bidets had the object of making them relatable to consumers. They wanted to bring on board celebrities for their marketing campaign to achieve this. Kohler were able to get them with the help of Tring, India’s largest celebrity management agency.

Kohler wanted to work with celebrities who had mass appeal for their marketing campaign. We helped them bring acclaimed television actress Shikha Singh Shah and celebrity chef Shipra Khanna on board. Both of them appeared in video advertisements for Kohler.

Shikha Singh Shah as well as her young daughter appeared in one advertisement. In this ad, her daughter calls out to her when she has finished using the toilet. However, when Shikha Singh Shah arrives, her daughter has cleaned herself up using Kohler’s child-friendly bidet.

With Shipra Khanna

Shipra Khanna’s advertisement was a recipe video showing viewers how to make a special paneer dish in detail. At the end she demonstrated the effectiveness of Kohler’s kitchen faucet in helping her cleaning up the dishes.
