As of 2021, Tollywood, or Telugu cinema, has grown to be one of India's most successful film industries. Telugu online shows have seen an increase in recent months in viewership. Telugu TV shows are quite interesting. You can select a Telugu series to watch on the weekends rather than another Hindi or English programme. 

1. The Legend of Hanuman

When the ruthless Ravan tore across the earth to unleash evil, he encountered a modest vaanar who had realised his divinity and had since become an immortal legend. The show focuses on Hanuman's incarnation as God Mahadev to serve God Rama, his evolution into a god from a fearsome warrior, and how he came to represent hope in the face of terrifying darkness.

2. Suzhal- The Vortex

Suzhal: Pushkar-Gayathri is the creator of the crime-thriller web series The Vortex, which is available on Amazon Prime Video in the Indian Tamil language. The series is an investigation into the issue of a missing person that unravels and destroys the delicate social fabric of the small town and is set in the fictional hamlet of Saambaloor in Tamil Nadu. Actors R. Parthiban, Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Sriya Reddy are featured in it.

Wallwatcher Films produced the show, which Bramma G and Anucharan Murugaiyan directed. Eight episodes make up the first season, which debuted on June 17, 2022. Sam C.S. composed the web series' music, Mukeswaran handled the filming, and Richard Kevin edited. There are plans for a second season.

3. Bigg Boss Telugu

Bigg Boss is a reality television programme of the Bigg Boss franchise that is broadcast in India on Star Maa and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. It adopts the structure of the Dutch reality programme Big Brother, which Endemol first created in that country. The show debuted in 2017 and has since aired five seasons, with N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Nani serving as hosts for Seasons 1 and 2, respectively, and Nagarjuna taking over for Season 3 onward. The sixth season debuted on September 4, 2022, and features regular people and celebrities as housemates.

4. Aha Na Pallenta

Aha Naa Pellanta is a web series in the Telugu language created and directed by Surya Rahul Tamada under the Tamada Media label. It is a romantic comedy-drama. Aamani, Harsha Vardhan, and Getup Srinu play supporting parts alongside Raj Tarun and Shivani Rajashekhar in the film. The series is a humorous account of a groom left alone by the bride on their wedding day, and it is set against the backdrop of Rajamundry.   November 17, 2022, will see the series premiere on ZEE5. 

5. Sunflower

Vikas Bahl is the creator of the ZEE5 original black comedy Sunflower. The series' co-director is Rahul Sengupta.  Reliance Entertainment produced it.   They are featuring Sunil Grover, an actor and comedian, in the title role of Sonu.    Actors like Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha, and Ashish Vidyarthi are included in the cast. The series, which had eight episodes, debuted on Zee5 on June 11, 2021, and both audiences and critics gave it largely favourable reviews. The acting, writing, and direction received high reviews.

6. Timon and Pumbaa

Disney's 1994 animated feature The Lion King and its sequels introduced the meerkat and warthog duo Timon and Pumbaa. While Pumbaa is voiced by Ernie Sabella (in all of his traditionally animated speaking appearances), Timon was portrayed throughout his many appearances by Nathan Lane (in all three films and early episodes of the show), Max Casella (the original actor in the Broadway musical), Kevin Schon (in specific episodes of the show), Quinton Flynn (in specific episodes of the show), and Bruce Lanois in the Wild About Safety shorts and Kingdom Hearts II.

7. The Software Developer

The Software Developer is a romantic comedy-drama web series in the Telugu language produced in India and written and directed by K. Subbu.   Pruthvi Mukka, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Shanmukh Jaswanth Kandregula, Jhakaas Pruthvi, and Iduri Sri Priya make up the series' ensemble cast, which Infinitum Media created.   The ten-episode series had its YouTube debut on July 31, 2020.
