Every year, a large number of business bodies, civil society organizations, schools, and other institutions participate with zeal to commemorate this Utsav and assist those in need. Originally known as "India Giving Week," the name "Joy of Giving Week" was chosen from a list of options supplied by Euro RSCG India, the ad agency that handled PR, creative, and media services for the "Joy of Giving Week."

So you must be curious to know when is ‘The Joy of Giving Week’? Well, Every year, between the 2nd and the 8th of October, Daan Utsav, or the Joy of Giving Week, is held, which includes Gandhi Jayanti. This week urges everyone to offer something, whether it's their time, money, resources, or skills. The joy of giving week teaches us about the numerous advantages of "acts of giving." Many non-governmental organizations and corporations backed this project. Corporations participate in this project as part of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) responsibilities.

The thrill of giving causes a person to greatly expand his or her life. The best thing is that it offers you a sense of accomplishment when you help individuals in your community. The simple act of giving brings delight to a person's life and enhances his own happiness. Because it takes guts to give anything from your life to others, the satisfaction of giving is immeasurable. It is difficult to do anything for someone else. But it makes a difference if we have the heart to do something for others without expecting anything in return.

This year, Tring has taken up the responsibility to be compassionate, care for others, and assist those in need to restore our humanity. The festival honoring generosity serves as a reminder that there are millions of individuals who are vulnerable and destitute, and it is our responsibility as caring human beings to assist one another and restore trust in humanity. With that in mind, Tring along with GiveIndia is working towards the ‘Gift a Tring, Gift a Meal’ campaign to contribute to the betterment of society. For every order received between October to December 2021, on behalf of the consumer - Tring will be donating a meal to an underprivileged person without debiting any additional money from the consumer. In simple words, you pay for your personalised video message booking from a celebrity of your choice and Tring donates a meal on your behalf without adding any extra charges to your order.

Hunger is one of the biggest issues prevailing in the world and our country. If each one does their bit to help solve this problem, it could make a big difference. Daan Utsav is observed to provide hope, happiness, and trust to all individuals to make them believe that the world is not so horrible after all. That there will always be people who are willing to help and support one another. The more orders Tring receives, the more underprivileged people will receive meals. So you get to make your festival season extra special with not just personalised video messages from your favorite celebrities but also the joy of knowing you’ve done your bit in making someone’s festival season a little more fruitful and brighter.

Book your Tring and be the light in someone’s life.
