Mr Malkhani asks Anjali to tell the court what happened that night. She explained that she was driving home when her car broke down, and Rishab jee offered to drop her off. She thought he was a considerable businessman who would not do anything wrong, so she agreed, requesting him to drop her off at the farmhouse, but when she got out, he insisted on having a cup of tea. Rishab says she lied in the first sentence, so how can they expect her to tell the truth? Rishab informs the judge that he does not drink tea at night and that it is wrong. The judge explains that everyone will be given time to prove their innocence, so he asks Rishab if he drinks tea at night.
Asking Anjali to continue, she mentions that when the maid brought tea, they were both in the study room, where he drank some alcohol; Rishab says she insisted on him having a drink. When the judge asks him not to interfere again, Anjali explains that Rishab tried to misbehave with her and molested her. Mr Malkhani explains they have the proof as Rishab is seen leaving the house while trying to close his buttons, and he shows the video proof to the judge.
The judge watches the video in which Rishab leaves; Mr Malkhani explains that when Rishab realised he would not be able to succeed, he decided to turn back and go Rishab, unable to control himself, explains that he did not even touch her because he is not that kind of person; Mr Malkhani explains that the video never lies; Damini jee mentions that the story behind the video may be false. Mr Malkhani then explains that he even has photos to prove Anjali's injuries. Mr Malkhani explains that Rishab was not like that before and had a good reputation, but Rishab despises Arjun and thus tries to harm Anjali, who works for him. Mr Malkhani explains that Preeta even offered Anjali a job.
Preeta informs the judge that she did not offer her a job but suggested that Anjali change jobs if she is unhappy with her current boss; the judge asks her to sit down because she is not in the witness box. When the judge explains that it can be proven from the video and proof that Rishab is guilty, Preeta accuses Anjali of lying. Arjun assures Anjali that she is lying, while Rishab is innocent because he did not attempt to misbehave with Anjali. Arjun says Preeta was trying to prove his innocence, but he has proven it. Returning to the topic, he explains that Anjali is lying because he asked her to lie, and she placed the cameras on his orders. It was all a plan he instructed her, so Rishab is innocent. He apologises for his mistake, explaining he is awake now and knows why Anjali did it all to Preeta and Rishab because she desired revenge when they filed a complaint.
Arjun apologises to the court; the judge explains that Arjun made a colossal mistake and that Rishab will be released without charges, but a case will be filed against Arjun and Anjali for wasting the court's time. The entire Luthra family hugs Rishab, who has been released. Arjun stomps past Preeta towards the door but turns back to see Preeta filled with rage. Preeta is unable to comprehend her emotions as Arjun departs.
Arjun enters the house, wondering where Anjali is after she leaves the court for home; he notices her carrying a bag and wonders what she is doing. Priyanka claims she hasn't said anything since returning, and Dadi claims she hasn't. Anjali stops Arjun from saying anything, questioning why he won't let her do anything. He tries to console her, but she says he promised to stand beside her in every matter, but he backed out, so she can't live here because it's pointless. Anjali explains she's leaving this house and his life forever.
Garesh opens the door, Rakhi tells him to bring the Thali while Rishab stands here, and Dadi mentions that the rituals must be completed. Karina explains that she does not believe in these things, too, but he should let the older people do it. Dadi becomes enraged, mentioning how much she enjoys it when Rakhi performs these rituals. Shrishti agrees, explaining that they must perform these rituals when everything is going well.
When Rakhi blesses them, she asks Preeta to stand beside Rishab so they can sit down. Sameer is confused about what happened at the court, and Kritika says that sometimes they must forget what happened but accept the decisions. Rakhi inquires about what they are discussing, to which Sameer responds that he does not understand Arjun's agenda.
Anjali explains that Arjun no longer has the right to question him, and she feels it is time for her to leave, so she is going. Arjun explains that he knows her intentions are good, but he always fights his battles. Preeta explains that she also met Arjun outside the court when he was eager to get Rishab imprisoned. Still, he came to take full responsibility and even questioned Anjali, resulting in them facing the court. Rakhi explains that they are all discussing Arjun and his intentions, and when she can reveal why he did everything, Preeta becomes tense.
