Sunil Dutt, Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Rakhee Gulzar, Parveen Babi, Bindiya Goswami, Johnny Walker, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda star in the film. The plot revolves around Vijay (Bachchan) and Ravi (Kapoor), who promise to avenge their brother DSP Shiv Kumar's (Dutt) death, as well as Rakesh (Sinha), a circus artist with ties to the killer Shakaal.
