It is the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning and the second film in the Baahubali series, acting as both a prequel and a sequel. The story takes place in mediaeval India and centres on the conflict between Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva, the latter of whom plans to assassinate the former by having Kattappa do it. The son of Amarendra comes back to exact revenge years later.Kattappa continues to describe how he came to slay Amarendra Baahubali in his narrative. Following the defeat of the Kalakeyas, Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva are crowned as the new king and commander-in-chief, respectively, of Mahishmati. Amarendra and Kattappa are to explore the kingdom and its surroundings, according to the Rajmata Sivagami. Amarendra observes a battle between Devasena/Thevasenai and a Mahishmati-neighboring kingdom's princess during the tour. After the fight, he approaches her and confesses his love for her while playing as an orphan and a simpleton. Kattappa plays the role of his uncle, and he is hired by the royal court for a position. Bhallaladeva learns about Amarendra's deed and develops a lust for Devasena after seeing her painting. For Devasena's hand in marriage, he approaches Sivagami. Amarendra's sentiments for Devasena weren't known to the Rajmata, who reassures Bhallaladeva and dispatches an agent to Kuntala to make the patronising marriage proposal. Devasena, who was offended, replies harshly to the proposal and rejects it. Sivagami, who was incensed by her reaction, gives Amarendra the order to kidnap Devasena and bring her to Mahishmati. In the meantime, a dacoit-like army known as the Pindaris attacks Kuntala. Amarendra is able to stop the onslaught and save Kuntala with the aid of Kattappa, Devasena's maternal cousin, Kumara Varma. Amarendra exposes his true identity when questioned. Mahishmati sends him a bird post directing him to kidnap Devasena. He persuades Devasena to travel with him to Mahishmati as his future bride by promising to uphold her honour. Once they get at Mahishmati, the error is discovered, and Amarendra is given the option of choosing the throne or Devasena. He decides on the latter. Amarendra is appointed the new commander in chief, and Bhallaladeva is crowned king. However, this has little effect on the general public's opinion of Amarendra.Bhallaladeva frees Amarendra of his responsibilities as a "gift" and offers them to Sethupathi during Devasena's baby shower. Devasena criticises Sivagami for her inaction and makes fun of Bhallaladeva. Amarendra and Devasena are expelled from the royal palace and are now living contentedly among the populace as a result of additional conflicts (a fight between Devasena and Sethupathi). Bijjaladeva persuades Kumara Varma that Bhallaladeva is pursuing Amarendra, and that in order to protect his brother-in-law, the latter must assassinate the monarch. After sneaking inside the palace during the night, Kumara Varma is apprehended by Bhallaladeva and slain, but not before exposing their scheme to persuade Sivagami to execute Amarendra because of the public's continued respect for him.Sivagami instructs Kattappa to kill Amarendra because she believes that Bhallaladeva's life is in danger but that a civil war will emerge from open enmity. By pretending to be in danger, Kattappa, who is obligated by his promise to serve the Queen, entices Amarendra before stabbing him in the back and killing him. Soon after Amarendra's passing, Kattappa discovers Bhallaladeva's betrayal and tells Sivagami. Sivagami then tells the terrified mob outside her palace that Amarendra has passed away and that the baby Mahendra Baahubali will take the crown. She leaves with the new King as Bhallaladeva and his men prepare to take her, but she is struck by an arrow launched by Bhallaladeva and ends up in a river. After Kuntala is destroyed by the oppressive monarch Bhallaladeva and Devasena is imprisoned for the next 25 years, Mahendra forms an alliance with the rebels trying to free her. Mahendra Baahubali (also known as Shivudu or Shiva), after hearing the entire tale, promptly swears war. He gathers the dispersed soldiers and villagers who will make up the rebel army. The army surrounds Mahishmati with the aid of Kattappa and Avantika. Devasena is recaptured by Bhallaladeva, but she is rescued by Kattappa, Mahendra, and the rebels who scale the city walls.Mahendra battles his uncle and holds him down with the cage's chains. Following a purification ceremony, Devasena permanently overthrows Bhallaladeva by setting him ablaze on a bonfire. The following day, Mahendra and Avantika are anointed as Mahishmati's new king and queen, respectively. He declares that under his leadership, Mahishmati will be committed to safeguarding justice and peace. The head of Bhallaladeva's statue is likewise ordered to be thrown out of the palace walls and down the huge waterfall by his troops. It settles close to the lingam that Mahendra had earlier carried, breaking as it falls and crashing on the cliff's walls.

After taking out two soldiers who were after her, she tried to cross a rushing river but slipped and got swept away in the flow. When he is young, he exhibits superhuman power by lifting a Lingam of Lord Siva and setting it down at the base of the mountain. Then, a mask tumbles from the rocks. Sivudu finally succeeds in climbing the mountain to locate the woman who the mask belongs to after realising it has feminine traits. When he reaches the top, he observes Avantika, a stunning woman, battling Mahishmati warriors. He learns that she is a part of a rebel movement that aims to depose Lord Bhallaladeva, the oppressive ruler of Mahishmati, and free the princess held captive by the monarchy.Sivudu falls in love with Avantika right away and begins to stalk her covertly. He even manages to tattoo her while she sleeps. She assaults Sivudu when she learns who he is, but he outwits her and gives her back her disguise. She acknowledges his feelings for her after realising he climbed the entire mountain to locate her. When other troops attack the two, Sivudu promises to save Devasena himself and leaves for Mahishmati after fighting them. On Bhallaladeva's birthday, he sneaks into the city and helps build a massive statue of the monarch. He is then identified by a worker, who goes on to lead the other workers in chanting "Baahubali," much to Sivudu and Bhallaladeva's astonishment. Later, Sivudu sneaks inside the royal palace dressed as a soldier to confuse Bhallaladeva and his guards so that he can free Devasena. The royal family's devoted slave Kattappa and Bhallaladeva's son Bhadra are sent to retrieve Devasena. Sivudu beheads Bhadra in the subsequent combat as the Amburi tribe and rebel fighters approach. Kattappa makes a lunging attack on Sivudu but holds back when he sees his face. He submits to Sivudu, claiming him to be "Baahubali," and falls at his feet. The following morning, Kattappa tells Sivudu that he is truly Mahendra Baahubali, the well-known Mahishmati warrior prince Amarendra Baahubali's son. King Vikramadeva's death and the death of his mother during childbirth left Amarendra Baahubali an orphan at birth. Due to his cunning nature, Lord Bijjaladeva, Vikramadeva's brother and the next in line for the throne, is disqualified from holding the position. As a result, Lady Sivagami, Bijjaladeva's wife, takes over with the aim of raising both her son Bhallaladeva and the orphaned Baahubali equally in order to choose the next heir to the throne.Despite being brought up as brothers and receiving rigorous training in many areas, Bhallaladeva retains his father's desire for power, while Baahubali's charming personality wins the kingdom over.Saketudu, a traitor, turns out to be a spy for the vicious Kaalakeya tribe, also known as the kingdom-destroying tribe. After their leader Inkoshi declares war on Mahishmati, Sivagami decrees that the winner will be whoever kills Inkoshi. Even though Bijjaladeva covertly gives Bhallaladeva more men and weaponry, Baahubali still manages to thwart more raiders than Bhallaladeva thanks to his creative strategies and ability to motivate his troops.Baahubali's bravery and concern for the subjects of his realm persuade Sivagami to name Baahubali heir apparent as Bhallaaladeva kills Inkoshi. After hearing Kattappa's tale, Sivudu's adoptive parents now want to meet Baahubali. When Sivudu questions a dejected Kattappa about Amarendra Baahubali's death, he admits that the traitor who killed Baahubali was none other than him, paving the way for a sequel. A police officer who wants to maintain the station free of anti-social people like Nilesh shoves him out of the way as he misses the last train from Kurla to Vikhroli. He wanders outside in search of an auto-rickshaw because he has nowhere to go and encounters Madhu, a stunning damsel in need who also needs a ride to Vikhroli. It comes out that the rickshaws' strike is a result of a bombing that occurred in Ghatkopar earlier in the day. Madhu and Nilesh are compelled to walk to the following rickshaw stand. When Nilesh stops at a neighbourhood bar, he can't help but give in to the urge to have a few drinks with Madhu. He runs across Pat, an old friend who seems to have made a lot of money gambling in a year. Pat invites Nilesh to join him in the private rooms to play with the high rollers because he is aware of his skill with the cards. He caves after some convincing from Madhu and starts to gamble. Pat takes over Nilesh's turn and loses to a gangster don all the money they have won. Nilesh sneaks into the restroom while looking for Madhu and discovers her inside, ostensibly being forced upon by a local goon. He murders the neighbourhood thug by accident. A devout but infamous south Indian Don (Ponappa), a Gay underworld Don, and his crew soon become involved along with a police encounter specialist and two constables. In the end, events take an unexpected turn as everyone but Nilesh dies while attempting to get the 2.5 crore bag at Don's home. With only Rs. 70 in his pocket as the journey begins, he has Rs. 2.5 crores by the time he boards the first train home at 4:10 AM, 2-12 hours later. He then proposes to Madhu three days later on the same train station, and the two go on to live happily ever after.

Behind the scenes, very talented costume designers and stylists play a critical role in crafting the iconic looks of Bollywood stars on the big screen. India has a historic garment design culture as well as a burgeoning fashion business. A few designers existed prior to the 1980s, but expansion occurred in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This was due to increased exposure to global fashion and the Indian economy's economic boom following economic liberalisation. Following independence, the emphasis shifted to the resurrection of traditional textile and design, resulting in the rise of ethnic chic. The history of clothing in India extends back to ancient times, when we could observe traditional Indian clothing with regional variants, such as a sari, ghagra-choli, or dhoti, which remained popular until the early post-independence decades. Then there was a period of decline, which was quickly followed by a period of revival, in which various organisations were involved in reviving traditional Indian techniques, such as ikat, patola (double-ikat), bandhani (tie & dye), and shisha (mirror embroidery). Bollywood films have the talent to produce unique fashion statements. Since ancient times, clothing designers have played an important role. Sholay Sholay is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film directed by Ramesh Sippy and written by Salim-Javed. The plot revolves around two crooks, Veeru (Dharmendra) and Jai (Amitabh Bachchan), who are hired by a retired cop (Sanjeev Kumar) to apprehend the brutal dacoit Gabbar Singh. (Amjad Khan). Basanti and Radha, Veeru, and Jai's love interests are played by Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan, respectively. Sholay is regarded as a classic and one of the best Indian films of all time. It came in first place in the British Film Institute's vote of the "Top 10 Indian Films of All Time" in 2002. The judges of the 50th Filmfare Awards declared it the Best Film of the Last 50 Years in 2005. Sholay is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential Indian films of all time. The film is a Dacoit Western (sometimes known as a "Curry Western"), mixing the tropes of Indian dacoit flicks, Spaghetti Westerns, and Samurai movies. Sholay is also a seminal example of a masala cinema, which combines multiple genres into a single production. Scholars have identified various themes in the picture, including the glorifying of violence, conformity to feudal ethos, the battle between societal order and mobilised usurpers, homosocial bonding, and the film's significance as a national allegory. The phrases and characters in the film were highly popular, spawning several cultural memes and becoming part of India's everyday vernacular. Mother India Mother India, directed by Mehboob Khan and starring Nargis, Sunil Dutt, Rajendra Kumar, and Raaj Kumar, is a 1957 Indian epic drama film. It is a remake of Khan's earlier film Aurat (1940), and it tells the story of a poor-stricken country lady named Radha (Nargis), who battles to raise her sons and live against a clever money-lender in the absence of her husband. The film's title was chosen to contrast with American novelist Katherine Mayo's 1927 polemical book Mother India, which condemned Indian culture. Mother India is a metaphor for India as a nation after its independence in 1947, and it alludes to a strong feeling of Indian nationalism and nation-building. The film contains numerous references to Hindu mythology, and its protagonist character has been seen as a metonymic picture of an Indian lady who embodies strong moral values and the concept of what it means to be a mother to society through self-sacrifice. While some authors regard Radha as a symbol of female liberation, others see her as a vehicle for feminine stereotypes. It was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, making it the first Indian film to be nominated in that category. Pather Panchali Pather Panchali is a 1955 Indian Bengali-language drama film written and directed by Satyajit Ray and produced by the Government of West Bengal. Pather Panchali, the first film in The Apu Trilogy, stars Subir Banerjee, Kanu Banerjee, Karuna Banerjee, Uma Dasgupta, Pinaki Sengupta, and Chunibala Devi and shows the boyhood travails of the protagonist Apu and his elder sister Durga among the tough village life of their poor family. Critics have complimented it for its realism, humanism, and soul-stirring qualities, while some have criticised it for its plodding pace and for romanticising poverty. Scholars have remarked on the film's poetic quality and realism (inspired by Italian neorealism), representation of poverty and minor pleasures of daily life, and usage of what scholar Darius Cooper refers to as the "epiphany of wonder," among other themes. Pather Panchali is regarded as a watershed moment in Indian cinema since it was one of the films that launched the Parallel cinema movement, which advocated authenticity and social realism. It is often featured in lists of the greatest films ever made. Mughal-E-Azam Mughal-e-Azam is a 1960 Indian epic historical drama film created and directed by K. Asif. Mughal-e-Azam was the first black-and-white Hindi film to be digitally colored, as well as the first film in any language to be re-released theatrically. The film is widely regarded as a genre landmark, with critics praising its grandeur and attention to detail, as well as the performances of its actors. (especially that of Madhubala, who earned a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress). Scholars have praised the film's portrayal of timeless themes, but have questioned its historical veracity. A significant reason for this Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham who play Sam and Kunal respectively, have a strong bromance right from the start. However, they take it to the next level when they pretend to be gay to get an apartment. Navigating the situation together, they bring many laughs with their antics. Rohan and Abhimanyu in Student Of The Year Student of The Year marked the debuts of Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Varun Dhawan, playing the charismatic and extroverted Rohan and Siddharth Malhotra, playing the more reserved and shy Abhimanyu had an incredible on-screen chemistry. Though their bromance goes from being as thick as thieves to being in conflict with each other, the two characters have a genuine love and understanding for each other in spite of everything. Raju and Shyam in Hera Pheri When people are asked to name the greatest comedy film of India, one name that often comes to mind is Hera Pheri. Raju, played by Akshay Kumar and Shyam, played by Suniel Shetty initially cannot stand each other and are constantly at each other’s throats. However, through this conflict they develop a bond and become incredibly close. Their shenanigans with the hilarious Babu Bhaiya, played by Paresh Rawal, are some of the highlights of the film. Munnabhai and Circuit in Munnabhai Munna Bhai M.B.B.B.S was the film that turned Rajkumar Hirani into one of the best comedy directors of India. One of the key factors to its success was the relationship between the characters, Munna Bhai and Circuit, played by Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi respectively. Circuit, the endearing sidekick of Munna Bhai had great love for him and the two of them had many typical bro moments together. Amar and Prem in Andaz Apna Apna Though it was not very successful when it was released, Andaz Apna Apna would go on to become one of the most loved films of the 1990s. The protagonists, Amar and Prem, played respectively by Aamir Khan and Salman Khan go from strangers to best friends. Both actors bring in their quirkiness and charm to make this film enjoyable and memorable. Jai and Veeru in Sholay The most memorable bromance in Bollywood is undoubtedly that of Jai and Veeru in Sholay. Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra’s on-screen chemistry as literal partners in crime was among the many elements that have made Sholay a classic. Nobody can forget the sentimentality and emotion captured as they ride together on a bike as the song Yeh Dosti plays, reminding us of the good times with our own bros.
