He claims to have filled Preeta's hairline and challenges Rishabh to let him seven days to lose everything, including his wife and daughter. She questions why he took this action. He is betrothed to her sister; she reminds him. He claims to recall everything, but his motivation prevents him from moving forward. He wants Rishabh to give him everything he lost, including his parents, relatives, and Preeta. She explains that he only wants Preeta, nothing else. Preeta sobs while wiping the sindoor. Arjun is asked by Anjali why he made this decision.According to Karan, he is aware of every detail, is unaware of what transpired, and feels a renewed connection to Preeta not out of love, but out of a determination to win her back. He wants to rob Rishabh and Preeta of everything. He tells Anjali that Preeta will only have his name as Kumkum, as she also inscribed death in his destiny. Anjali sobs. Preeta enters the shower to begin wiping the sindoor.She can recall Karan. Karan cleans his injury. Preeta is welcomed back into his realm by him. The wound doesn't bother him. He claims that there can be no suffering if there is no love. He had had a soul mate relationship with Preeta, but even then, she betrayed him and didn't realise he was Karan. Rakhi and Shrishti calm Preeta. Preeta claims that the sindoor wouldn't come off despite her best efforts. Rakhi predicts that the colour will soon vanish. Preeta concurs that Arjun is unrelated to her Kundali Bhagya and that this is only a stain. She is to stop crying, Rishabh begs; he is with her.He also makes an effort to remove the sindoor mark. The man comforts Preeta. Shrishti reassures Preeta that Rishabh won't allow Arjun to stand in their way. Preeta is never alone, says Rishabh, so don't worry. He assures her. He ensures them that Kavya is their daughter, that he will pick her up from school, that they are all safe in the house, and that nothing terrible will happen. He assures the family that everyone will be safe. Shrishti and Rakhi hug Preeta. Preeta's cries cause Rishabh to start to cry.
