Keep reading to know more about Ventilator cast, Ventilator plot, Ventilator OTT, watch Ventilator online, Ventilator Instagram, Ventilator updates and more. Rajesh Mapuskar wrote and directed the 2016 Marathi-language comedic drama film Ventilator, which was also produced by Priyanka Chopra. A cast of over 100 artists, including Ashutosh Gowariker, Jitendra Joshi, Sulbha Arya, Swati Chitnis, and Sukanya Kulkarni, are featured in the movie. Some days prior to the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, the eldest and most cherished member of the Kamerkar family enters a coma and is placed on a ventilator. The Kamerkar family gathers each year in their ancestral village to commemorate Ganesh Chaturthi. Three days before the festival, Gajanan Karmerkar, also known as Gajju Kaka, a beloved and admired family patriarch, falls into a coma. In a hospital in Mumbai, he is given medical ventilation as life support. During a showing of his movie with Priyanka Chopra, Gajanan's nephew Raja Kamerkar, a well-known Bollywood film director, learns this information from his father, who advises Raja to head to the hospital. Raja, who is facing problems with his own father, has received a lot of kindness from Gajju Kaka. Raja informs everyone, along with the relatives in the village, as he travels to the hospital. While worrying about Gajju Kaka, his relatives are also anxious about the approaching celebrations. A time of sadness would result from Gajju Kaka's passing during the festival, ruining their festive plans.Gajju Kaka's entire family as well as his neighbours pay a visit to him in the hospital and offer Lord Ganesha prayers for a speedy recovery. While some people are pleased about Raja's impending film and his success, others are happy to see Raja at the hospital with Gajanan's wife Manda and their baby Prasanna. Everyone in the ICU is present when Raja enters, but most of them are preoccupied with matters unrelated to Gajju Kaka's health. Raja finds it amusing how the family members are reacting differently to the pandemonium around them. Prasanna is active in politics and has ambitions to win a tournament to impress his boss even during this challenging period. Meanwhile, Pritam, the village cousin of Prassana and Raja, is travelling with his uncle and family.Everyone in the family is aware that Prasanna and his father Gajanan have a problematic relationship. On the other hand, Sarika, Prasanna's sister, has a close bond with their father. Prasanna should have been there for Gajanan since, as Manda points out, he has always loved him. The employer of Prasanna fires him and replaces him with his helper. When the village family shows up, they are stunned to find that he would always be dependent on the ventilator. The family accepts Prasanna's decision to keep Gajanan on the ventilator until the following afternoon. Raja, who had issues with his own father, requests that Prasanna visit Gajanan's ward and say goodbye to him. Prasanna expresses his frustration with his father, saying that he was unable to emulate "his favourite Raja" and that Gajanan had always given preference to his sister Sarika.Lata, a cousin of Raja and Prasanna, and her husband and little boy fly in the following day from the United States. The youngster displays his family tree, which he has drawn, to them all. He inquires about Prasanna's father, and Prasanna replies that his father didn't care about him. Following their overhearing, Raja's father and Gajanan's brother remind Prasanna of his father's struggles following the birth of his narrow nostril and, in contrast to what Prasanna had previously believed, how much Gajanan loved him. As a result, Prassana changes his mind and dashes to the ward to make up with Gajanan while also pleading with the medical staff to keep his father on the ventilator. His mother, sister, and he reunite and give each other hugs. This gives Raja confidence as he works to forget his disagreement with his own dad. Gajanan smiles while still using the ventilator.Ventilator was released on 4 November 2016 and was a massive hit at the box office. Made on a budget of 3.5 crores, the movie went on to earn close to 25 crores, making it the 10th highest-grossing Marathi movie of all time in the year 2017. The movie was loved by critics and audiences alike and went on to win three awards at the National Film Awards including Best Director, Best Editing and Best Sound Mixing. Owing to its popularity, the movie was remade in Gujarati with the same title in the year 2018.

It is a remake of Mani Kaul's 1973 Hindi film Duvidha, which was based on a Rajasthani short story by Vijayadan Detha. The movie, which was directed by Amol Palekar and was made by Red Chillies Entertainment, is about a wife whose husband travels for business as is customary. While she's away, she receives a visit from a Jinn who is actually her husband but who falls in love with her and replaces her husband. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji in lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher and Rishi Deshpande in supporting roles.Lachchi, a young, eager rural girl from Rajasthan, gets married to Kishan, a wealthy merchant's son from a remote village. When the group stops to rest in the middle of the journey on the way from her house to her in-laws' house—which is too far away—a ghost spots Lachchi and falls in love with her. Later that night, it is revealed that Kishan, an obedient son, will respect his father's intention to launch a brand-new, far-off company on an auspicious date, which just so happens to be the next day. After finishing his bookkeeping at night and turning away from his wife, Kishan leaves for a five-year business trip early the next morning. The ghost makes an appearance in Bhanwarlal's home the following day, having adopted Kishan's appearance and voice as a result of his own devotion to Lachchi.Even though he presents himself as Kishan to the rest of the household, the ghost only tells Lachchi who he really is at night. Lachchi is thus faced with a choice between the ghost who has assumed the appearance of her real husband, who is the embodiment of all of her wishes, and this choice. She adopts this newly discovered, passionate, magical, sociable, and self-assured Kishan as her own. The ghost, posing as Kishan, becomes friends with every member of the real Kishan's household and makes Bhanwarlal happy by giving him enchanted, maybe imaginary gold money. The only mistake he makes is how he treats the messenger Bhoja, who finds it strange that Kishan sent a message from his work trip just to collect it himself. For four years, Lachchi and the ghost live happily together. During that time, he also maintains the happiness of her in-law's family and provides solutions to numerous issues that the household and the community face. The real Kishan returns to check on the veracity of the pregnancy rumours when Lachchi gets impregnated with the ghost's baby. Upon his return, Kishan discovers the spirit in his own guise. Due to the ghost's reluctance to confess, his family seems unable to identify which of the doppelgängers is the real Kishan. They make the decision to go see the ruler so that he can intervene. Sundarlal rejoins his family while also going back to his house to apologise to Gajrobai for his lengthy and unexpected absence. They encounter an elderly shepherd named Gadariya on their route to the king, who offers to help. In front of the genuine Kishan, he administers three tests. He claims that the person who can pick up burning coals will demonstrate that he is Bhanwalal's real son, the person who can quickly gather the sheep will demonstrate that he is the bride's true husband, and the person who can enter his water bottle will demonstrate that he is the bride's true lover. When the shepherd says, "the real lover of the bride," Kishan tries his hardest to accomplish the first two, which the spirit did not attempt to try, but he enters the water bottle to demonstrate his love for Lachchi. The shepherd hastily seals his bottle so the spirit cannot escape after the real Kishan is discovered. Having made this realisation, Kishan dumps the bottle in the desert before everyone heads back home. Lachchi is grieved by the ghost's loss. At the very end, it is made clear that the ghost broke free from the bottle and took possession of Kishan's body so that he could live with her. Looni Ma, the daughter that Lachchi has now given birth to, is the medium through which the spirit reveals his existence to Lachchi. Lachchi begins to live blissfully as a result, having both her real spouse and her ghostly lover inhabit the same body. The puppets conclude the tale by saying that it is a very old folktale.Paheli was a critical and commercial success, with it being screened at various film festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Palm Springs International Film Festival. It was praised for its unique storyline and the acting performance by the lead cast. It also managed to earn close to INR 32 crores at the box office, deeming it a box office hit.

Kadru then gave birth to the Naga race, while Vinata gave birth to Aruna, who became the charioteer of the sun deity, Surya, as well as the magnificent bird Garuda, who became Vishnu's carrier. Naga Panchami is also a day when Akhara, traditional Indian wrestling gyms, celebrate the mystical significance of the snake as a symbol of virility and kundalini force. According to another legend, Janamejaya, Parikshit's son, organised a Nag Yagya to exact revenge on snakes after Takshak killed his father. This Yajna was halted by Rishi Jaratkaru's son, Aastik Muni. Shravan Shukla Panchami was the day he halted the Yajna. Significance Of The Festival Snakes are worshipped to placate Lord Shiva, who wears a cobra around his neck. On Nag Panchami Day, devotees worship live cobras and offer them milk and other offerings. What is Krishna Janmashtami? Krishna Janmashtami, also known as Krishnashtami, Janmashtami, or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival commemorating Krishna's birth, Vishnu's eighth avatar. Krishna is described as the greatest deity and the origin of all incarnations in some Hindu writings, such as the Gitagovinda. In accordance with amanta and purnimanta traditions, Krishna's birth is celebrated and observed on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the dark fortnight (Krishna Paksha) in Shravana Masa or Bhadrapada Masa. The Gregorian calendar's months of August or September coincide with this. It is a significant festival, especially in the Hindu Vaishnavism tradition. The celebratory customs associated with Janmashtami include a celebration festival, reading and reciting religious texts, dance performances based on the Bhagavata Purana, devotional singing until midnight (the time of Krishna's birth), and fasting (upavasa) are just a few of the celebration customs associated with Janmashtami. It is extensively observed in India and around the world. Table of content Significance Of Krishna Janmashtami How Is Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated? The eighth child born to Devaki and Vasudeva is Krishna. Around the time of his birth, there was a rash of persecution, freedoms were curtailed, and King Kamsa's life was in danger. Krishna was born in a prison in Mathura, India, where his uncle Kamsa held his parents captive. A celestial voice informed Kamsa during Devaki's wedding that Devaki's eighth kid would be the reason for his demise. Kamsa imprisoned Devaki and her husband and immediately executed all of her newborns following their birth in an effort to disprove the prophecy. When Krishna was born, the guards in charge of keeping an eye on Devaki's cell fell asleep, and the cell doors magically opened. Vasudeva was able to send Krishna to his foster parents, Yashoda (loved ones) and Nanda (father), across the Yamuna River as a result of these occurrences. Along with Krishna, the avatar of Shesha incarnated on Earth as Krishna's older brother Balarama. Balarama was the first child of Vasudeva with his first wife, Rohini. On Janmashtami, people observe fasts, sing devotional songs of love for Krishna, and keep vigil until the wee hours of the morning to commemorate this legend. Krishna's newborn forms are cleaned, dressed, and then put in a cradle after his midnight delivery. The followers then share food and desserts to break their fast. Women depict Krishna's journey into their homes by drawing tiny footprints outside their kitchen doors and home entrances. How Is Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated? Hindus observe a day of fasting, communal prayer, singing, cooking and sharing of special foods, night vigils, and visits to Krishna or Vishnu temples to commemorate Janmashtami. Pilgrims travel to Mathura and Vrindavan to pay their respects. Bhagavata Purana and Bhagavad Gita recitations are held regularly at significant Krishna temples. Rasa Lila or Krishna Lila is a dance-drama performance that is organised by many northern Indian groups. Rasa Lila is a ritual that is particularly well-liked in the Mathura region, in northeastern Indian states like Manipur and Assam, as well as in some areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat. These drama-dance plays start a few days before each Janmashtami and are performed by several teams of amateur performers who are supported by their local communities. People use lights and flowers to decorate their homes. On this day, people chant, loved onesHare Krishna hare Krishna, Krishna- Krishna Hare Hareloved ones. The Janmashtami celebration is followed by Dahi Handi, which is celebrated the next day. Here is how Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated in various parts of India, Maharashtra The state of Maharashtra, particularly the cities of Mumbai and Pune, also celebrates Janmashtami in a huge way. The Dahi Handi ritual, also known as Gokulashtami here, is the festival's main attraction and a tribute to Lord Krishna's love of butter and curd. This is where a group of young men known as the Govinda create a human pyramid in an effort to break the clay pot and spill the yoghurt. The earthen pot is suspended in the air far above (about 20 to 30 feet above the ground). Then, everyone is given this yoghurt as prasad. The Govindas are surrounded by spectators who cheer them on and occasionally even hurl buckets of water to make the ascent more difficult. The winning team receives a cash award that could be worth hundreds of thousands of rupees depending on the event's sponsors as they compete against one another to break the pot. Numerous locations throughout the city host this ritual, and at some of them even Bollywood stars make an appearance. Gujarat The Gujarati city of Dwarka, known as the City of Lord Krishna, also fervently observes the festival. The Dahi Handi tradition is also practised in this area, although it is known here as Makhan Handi (a pot filled with churned butter). Celebrations for the entire night start early, including a garba dance, singing of religious songs, and Raslila performances. Fasting is also fairly typical. Dwarkadhish, a temple devoted to Lord Krishna, is the most exquisitely designed building in the nation and draws adoring visitors from all over the place. The mangal aarti, which is conducted in the morning, is the part of the festivities that everyone should attend. Uttar Pradesh Although this day is commonly referred to as Janmashtami, the nomenclature and associated rituals vary from place to place. The state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India, notably the cities of Mathura, Krishna's birthplace, and Vrindavan, where he is thought to have spent his formative years, are the greatest places to enjoy the grandeur of the occasion. The festivities last for several weeks here. Temples are colourfully decorated, pandals (temporary tents) are erected, and Raslila performances—a folk dance-drama illustrating significant events from Krishna's life—take place in the days preceding the festival. In a ritual known as Abhishek, the idols of Krishna are anointed with milk, honey, and curd. Thereafter, the statues are dressed in fresh clothing and jewellery and set in elaborately decorated cradles. People can be heard chanting prayers and hymns in the distance. South India The festivities are different in South India than they are in the North. For instance, in Tamil Nadu, people make Krishna's footprints and stunning artistic designs called kolam using rice batter at their front door. Young boys in Andhra Pradesh visit friends and neighbours while dressed as Krishna. Fruits and treats are initially offered to Krishna before being shared with the populace. Other widespread customs include fasting, singing devotional songs, and reciting sholkas (Sanskrit poems). Odisha and West Bengal In the eastern provinces of Odisha and West Bengal, the festival is known as Sri Krishna Jayanti or Sri Jayanti. People observe a day of fasting and recite the tenth chapter of the Bhagavata Purana until midnight to commemorate the occasion. The celebration of Nanda and Yashoda, Krishna's foster parents, begins the following morning. On this day, which is known as Nanda Utsav, worshippers offer the god Chappan bhog before breaking their fast. Manipur Fasting, scripture recitation, vigils, the Raslila dance, and visits to the well-known ISKCON and Shree Govindajee temples are all part of the festivities in Manipur. Along with India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Singapore, and some regions of the USA also observe the festival of Krishna Janmashtami.
